Photographic journey into the fascinating world of the new Frankie Dettori

They say he’s the new Frankie Dettori. An important legacy, a very high expectation to be respected. Oisin Murphy is an Irish jockey born in 1995, a predestined nephew of the three times champion of the prestigious Cheltenham Gold Cup Jim Culloty.

A matter of family, of rides, of (pure)blood. To date, the 25-year-old speed rider has already won a lot around the world, as evidenced by the crowning of British Champion Jockey last year.

A jockey that’s inevitably destined for the glory of the annals, a sensitive boy, who during the British lockdown was reached by the photographic gaze of Olly Burn. Shots that portray the special, intimate relationship between Oisin Murphy and his horses. Shots that combine mud with the world of fashion, effort with aesthetic elegance.

Good vision.
